The wireless feature is great but the speed of 23 pages per minute can’t satisfy someone with heavy printing needs.  A household where there aren’t many PCs that need to use the printer would be the perfect environment for this model because of its relatively low printing speed.

Besides that, Brother MFC-7840Wlimits you to using only one paper tray of 250 pages and a memory of 32 Mb. It’s true you will most likely not need additional memory capacity, but you couldn’t expand it even if you wanted to because there is no extra slot for memory. It also lacks an additional space for a paper tray, limiting the amount of paper it can hold and use at one time.
