HP Deskjet 5740 demo page

The demo page for a Deskjet 5740 consists of a mostly blank page.  It has the printers model series at the top, followed by the HP website address, and at the bottom is a small color HP logo.  The demo page isnt useful for much more than checking print quality or paper feed.

To print a demo page from the 5740, press and hold the Resume button (the button with the arrow on it) for about two or three seconds, until the light on the button starts to flash.  Let go of the button,  and the demo page will print out shortly.

HP Deskjet 812C demo page

To print a demo page from the Deskjet 812C (just to check printing ability or print quality) hold down the Resume button (the button below the Power button, with the arrow on it) for about five seconds.  A sample page with the printers model name and a color picture will print out shortly.
